Really enjoyed this exhibition on many levels. Firstly because it gave a very open insight into what our society was back then and what my mom had to deal with, especially the national front and music culture. Secondly i have grown to like the composition and the letter forms been used for the posters & zines. The bold colors, the jagged edges and the sans serif fonts work very well, seems to be a key element within this era. Probably because this era was such a 'statement' era and a lot of people had many opinions among themselves and they wanted to voice them. Lastly, it gave me alot of ideas for my zine that i am producing. At first i wanted to keep it clean cut and elegant, but now im swaying more towards very punk driven fonts and layouts. Something to look more into maybe.

Then we headed over to brick lane to check out our space for free range. Quite happy that we have the same space as they did last year as i think the coverage that your getting is second to none and it would benefit us all. Looking at the space with no installations in gave me a few ideas on what i can go with. Looking forward to getting on with it now.

We then made our way over to the white cube and another gallery to get an understanding on how to present our work and maybe get a wider picture of looking at how we can go about doing this. Quite a nice little gallery and exhibition, which was quite eye opening to setting up installations.
