Really struggling to gather ideas for this '24' brief. Various ideas are coming into my head but implementing them in a way that would coincide with the brief is becoming a real challenge.
I'm trying to work out what is life in my point of view and then what is life in terms of my friends. I like the fact that i am 24, im thinking on integrating this in some one way or another.
I am also looking at the whole time vs life equation, but then looking at the time i, myself, have in order to complete the equation.
What is the answer to Time vs Life, surely i am the one who creates the answer to the question. It hasn't been created yet, its up to myself to create it.
Hmmmmmmm??

Hiroshi Sugimoto
Currently loving the work of Hiroshi Sugimoto. Really like his 'stillness in time' work, it seems to be having a huge influence with various ideas of my brief. I personally like the 'theater' project.
'in which he photographs auditoriums of American movie theaters, and drive-in movies, during showings. The exposure time used for the photograph corresponds with the projection time of the film. This allows him to save the duration of the entire film in a single shot'.
Really intrigued behind his vision behind this and what he thinks about it and what i personally think about this.
1. Very interesting that the picture from the projection screen creates this huge white rectangle.
2. A Gateway. More of a religious look into this, a gateway to another dimension, religion, world. Over so much time been recorded this 'gateway' opens and you all of a sudden expect the stereotypical image of someone appearing from the 'other side'.
3. A full feature film turned into one documentation. This document has a life of 2hrs (length of the the possible film), its interesting that 2hrs of footage has been documented in this way.

24
2 x 2 x 2 x 3
2 x 12
3 x 8
4 x 6
1 x 2 x 3 x 4
4 or 4 Factorial
3 + 5 + 7 + 9
1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24
Currently looking at various numbers and how can play around with them. Finding it hard to interlink them with the current theme of 24 hours. Interesting to see everything associated with the sum of 24 and various techniques of displaying these.
